Docking control is a WPF control library that provides a Tabbed Document Interface for your application very similar to Visual studio.

-You can create a complex layout, hide, collaps, drag-drop and float parts of the interface.

-The library follows the WPF design guidelines which results in a highly customisable component through Templates and Styles.

-It works out of the box in xbap applications using standard partial trust security permissions.

-You can store and retrieve multiple layouts to/from a stream, allows dynamic switching between layouts.

-It implements custom UI Automation providers, enabling support for automated user interface tests.

• With the first and second release of the .Net WPF library (WPF 3.0 and 3.5) there is no API provided for creating an MDI (Multiple document interface) or TDI (Tabbed Document Interface). This is where Docking Control tries to fill the gab by providing a WPF control library that provides a Tabbed Document Interface for your application. With this library, you can create complex interfaces similar to Visual studio.
