Disaster Recovery Exchange 10.10.01

To resolve the error messages occurring due to corruption of Exchange database file, Exchange disaster recovery needs to be done. Kernel for Exchange – Disaster Recovery Exchange tool enables doing apt recover of lost mailboxes and their items by repairing the corrupt EDB and STM files. The software is capable to repair Exchange database file damages due to dirty shut down, checksum error, header corruption, damage of transaction log files, and other similar reasons.

Kernel for Exchange provides three options of perform Exchange disaster recovery. Those options are - Automatic Analyze and Recover, Advance Scan, Rebuild Corrupted Database. The Automatic Analyze and Recover and Advance Scan options save the recovered mailboxes into .pst file format making them directly accessible with MS Outlook. Whereas the Rebuild Corrupted Database option rebuilds the entire database to making it mountable on Exchange Server. The software can also recover the deleted mailbox items.

Depending of the recovery option selected, the software starts scanning the listed .edb and .stm files. The software supports Microsoft Exchange Server 5.0, 5.5, 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010, Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, and 2010, and Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003, and 2000. The software is also available for free download using which the preview of recovered items can be seen but to save the recovered items, full version of the software needs to be purchased.

• When EDB file gets damaged, various error messages start logging into the log files that indicate corruption in the Exchange database. Some of the errors are - JET_errRecordNotFound, the key was not found, Jet_errRecordDeleted, Exchange Server Error Code 528, Exchange Server Error 550, and Error -528 initializing the Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store database.
